Genealogy is a hobby that occupies much of my time. Sometimes, too much so. Especially, when I hear complaints from my husband saying, "The living need your attention."
For the past month, family issues have been up front and demanding attention. Jimmy and I have enrolled our grandson into the 9th grade and there were lots of to-do lists; go here and do that sort of thing for two weeks prior to school. School has begun and so the schedule is a welcomed respite.
Ben came to visit for a week. The week sped by way to fast. I still have to adjust to the fact that my baby is now a grown man. Do we ever get used to the fact that our children are grown?
